I’m not getting to work this morning. First one is only about 4” of water, I could get through there. Second section touches the rear bumper of a 2015 Outback in the non washed out section. I’m not getting through there. Kinda wishing I still had my 2001 Outback. That battlewagon would have plowed through this like a champ.

That’s a lot of water where it isn’t supposed to be. Is that area prone to flooding, usually?

There’s a stream that passes under the road there but according to my neighbors who have lived here for 20+ years this has never happened.

Me: “That’s a pretty stream...oh... that’s a road”

Road in front of my place often looks like that, but fortunately it’s not actually very deep (especially if you stick to the left side). And it’s not really flowing just pooled.

We got that rain and wind last night. Nothing stopped me from getting to work today thankfully, but most of our rivers are now near or above flood stage.

This water is coming from a stream that normally flows through a 8” sewer pipe under the road by the second section.

Took me a couple of times before I realized the play on words with the logo on the car. Well played, donk builder.

the wind here was very, very bad... and the rain and flooding too. We’re not in a flood prone area, but we still have washed out culverts and a sinkhole in the road just north from our house.

The culvert that is ironically under the dry patch in that photo is now gone. Road is impassible for the foreseeable future. This is what the stream behind my apartment currently looks like:
That stream was 2 feet wide and calm on Wednesday.
